As part of its annual plan for 2013, the Community Police Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ launched the third phase of the campaign: "Our Properties.Our Responsibility." The third phase, which last until the middle of May 2013, spreads awareness among community members on measures to protect their houses, shops, and vehicles.
Lt. Colonel Mubarak Bin Muhairom, Head of Department of Community Police, said: "The 'Our Properties.Our Responsibility' campaign reflects the Abu Dhabi Police's general strategy to raise security and community awareness among all societal categories on how to protect security and stability achievements."
He said that protection is a collective responsibility between the police and community members that aims on empowering security and stability.
"Public properties are part of our modrn achievements in which we take pride. Our country has become a rich oasis of vibrant cities, highways, roads, universities, and parks. Our thriving civilisation spans the entire country," he added.
