ADP Emergency Department participates in hazardous substances course in Britain
A delegation from the Emergency and Public Safety Department at Abu Dhabi Police, left for Britain on Thursday to join a 6-week training course on skills of dealing with hazardous substances which will be held by Fire Services College in Moreton-in-Marsh.
The delegation consists of two police officers, 22 non-commissioned officers and policemen and an interpreter.
“The police leadership is keen on sharpening the skills of its staff members, enhancing their operational capacities, and on fulfilling all their requirements, said Colonel Mohammed Al Nuaimi Director of the Department, addressing the participants.
He noted the importance of this course for the boosting of their skills to deal with hazardous substances. The course was organized in collaboration with the British Police and classified as high quality training.
(60%) of the Course’s contents will focus on practical training in dealing with hazardous substances and gases and methods for their protection.
