The Abu Dhabi Police started to educate banking clients on proper ways to protect their money and take precautionary procedures when they leave their banking institution. This comes under the nation-wide campaign: “Our properties…Our responsibilities,” which is executed by the Community Police Department.
The campaign was launched in mid 2012 to educate nationals and residents on different topics. It runs throughout next May.
Lt. Colonel Mubarak Bin Mehairoum, Head of Department of Community Police, said: “This campaign comes in line with the general strategy of Abu Dhabi Police, which is to support social relations with partners and empowering cooperation between them. This effort is carried out in order to achieve a higher security level that protects properties, maintains security and stability, and enables the security and the cooperative role of partners who represent the strongest element in this regard".
“The campaign is running throughout mid-2013, and will begin to educate banking clients this month on how to protect their money, and take precautions and preventative measures when dealing with banks,” he added.
The campaign is carried out and followed up by the Security Media Department in Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with major banks, along with their branches and their other locations.
