The Ports Security Institute at the Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 70 participants from the various police and services departments, including 13 participants from sister countries, after completing five specialized courses.
Head of the Institute, Colonel Matar Ahmed Al Muhairi, indicated that training police and security forces embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to raise its human cadre’s efficiency according to international- best standards, and to enhance the quality of services provided in all areas.
Colonel Muhairi underscored the Abu Dhabi Police’s attention to enhance police and security performance of its human cadre, to keep abreast of global developments, and maintain the security and safety witnessed by the country.
For their part, the graduates expressed their appreciation for the Institute’s administration, committed to the training process. They lauded the courses, which contributed to hone their practical and academic skills in a number of sciences suited to their functional occupations.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Muhairi distributed certificates to the graduates, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ports and Airports Security Department. He also valued the lecturers’ efforts and the participants’ keenness to regularly attend the courses and interact with the program. Concluding, he called on the graduates to apply the knowledge they acquired to enhance their professional performance level.
