A total of 178 recruits participating in nine courses graduated from the Ports Security Institute of the Ports and Airports Security Police in Abu Dhabi Police. The courses included training on different types of tasks and functions, and were held at the institution. The training lasted for one week.

Lt. Colonel Naima Salem Awad, Training Branch Manager of the Ports and Airports Security Police, said that nine courses including 178 trainees graduated from the department, including two courses on inspection and security checks through CPT computers and an English course, in addition to six specialized courses in police and security sciences.

She added that participants were introduced to a set of new tasks and duties, which help to promote the quality of services, in implementation of Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to further its endeavor towards excellence and achieve all aspirations.

She explained that the regular courses organized reflect the attention of the police leadership in habilitating trainees and elevating their capacities as per the best international standards. She also noted the keenness shown by trainees in interacting with the program proving their will and dedication to develop their performance in police fields.

The manager congratulated the participants and handed them their certificates in the presence of a number of officers and officials from the managerial level of the institute. She called upon the graduates to make more efforts to elevate the level of their performance and develop police work.
