72 graduates from ADP psychological and social support program
Social Support Centers Department of ADP celebrated the gradation of 72 of its employees on a training program titled: Principles and Applications of Psychological and Social Support.
Brig. Najm Abdullah Al Hosani, the Department’s Director, highlighted the importance of applied and professional training for the enhancement and development of the employees of the Department, which will help create qualified staff who are capable to raise the level of services delivered by ADP for all the members of the community through the implementation of the general strategic vision to eventually achieve the anticipated family security.
Commenting on the program, Al Hosani said: it is a three-week contract program, delivered in two sessions , morning session in Abu Dhabi, and evening session in Al Ain, and the program is supervised by Dr. Saaed Hadi bin Wahhas.
“The program aimed at bestowing the employees with the professional sense that is based on the scientific and methodological knowledge in order to deal with the psychological and social problems received by the social support centers, in terms of evaluating the cases to finally reach and apply the treatment plans”, he added.
The Director of the Social Support Centers Department of ADP clarified that the participants received both scientific and theoretical information about understating the human behavior, and learning about the psychological, family and social disorders, besides evaluating the disturbed behavior before the therapeutic intervention takes place by psychologists and social workers.
