The General Directorate of Central Operations of the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters received the Award of Best Collaborative Project for 2012.
Captain Mohammed Saad Al Khanbashi, Head of the Telecommunications Division in the Information Technology Department, presented the award to Brigadier General Ismail Al Serkal, Deputy Director General of Central Operations, Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, in the presence of Colonel Anwar Al Mulla, Director of the Telecommunications and Information Department in the Abu Dhabi Police.
The Department of Telecommunications and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) received the award at the Global Networks Award, which was recently organized by Computer News Middle East, at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai.
Brigadier General Ismail assured the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to implement the highest standards of quality and excellence to provide police services of high quality and efficiency.
He also referred to the efforts of the Implementation Team and motivated them to maintain this excellence in order to provide the best services for both the police and the public.
Captain Mohammed Saad Al Khanbashi, who presented the award to the Deputy Director General of Central Operations, said that the Abu Dhabi Police seeks to create a unified communication structure to transfer sound, image, and information as well as provide a unique communication center that serves all society members who wish to communicate with police departments through conventional and advanced ways through this recognized project.
