Traffic and Patrols Section in Al Ain yesterday received a group of students from the Al Amoria Primary School for girls in Al Ain, where they were met by several members of the public relations branch of the department.
Policeman Abdullah Sultan All Nuaimi, briefed the students on the work of traffic, and provided a simplified explanation about the duties of the patrol vehicle and the work of some units including traffic violations.
The visiting girls have also been educated about the correct getting in and off school buses.
First Lieutenant Hamdan Bin Dheban, branch manager of public relations at the Section, said that such visits contribute to enriching the continued traffic awareness, and help create solid communication between traffic police and school students, especially at the early school stages
At the end of the visit, policeman Abdullah Al Nuaimi presented commemorative gifts to the students and wished them safety.
