The Office of Victims Affairs in the Department of Crises and Disasters of the General Department of Central Operations in the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police organized the “table2” which aims at increasing coordination and cooperation between the Office of Victim Affairs in the Ministry of Interior and the concerned partners.
The exercise was attended by Colonel Mohammad Ali Al Dallal, Deputy Chairman of the committee, along with a number of officers from different police units and representatives of the concerned entities and external partners. The exercise was held at Holiday Inn Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
In his speech at the exercise, Colonel Al Dallal stressed that this exercise aims at unifying the procedures of the Victims Affairs Office through viewing and leveraging the experiences of developed countries, and getting acquainted with the applied procedures to reach the highest standards, so that unified procedures can be achieved and staff readiness can be increased. Moreover, it ensures no duplication or overlapping in tasks or duties.
He mentioned that the exercise focused on increasing the efficiency of participant parties and developing their skills and capacities; as well as alleviating the level of their readiness and coordination between the participant units. It also focused on improving performance, raising the efficiency of participant officers and personnel and the speed of responses and handling the public, as well as increasing coordination, cooperation and joint action between the police units and the participant parties.
