A delegation from Zayed House for Islamic Culture, headed by director of public relation, Ibrahim Hussein Al Marzouqi, visited the Community Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police to discuss ways of promoting mutual cooperation.
The delegation was received by Lt. Col Mubarak Awadh bin Mehroum, director of Community Police Department and a number of officers.
Issues including dealing with new Muslims have been discussed during the meeting where bin Mehroum briefed the delegation on the goals of community policing and the modern approaches it applies in dealing with the members and segments of the community.
Also the visiting delegation explained the nature of work at the Zayed House, and its areas of concern mainly with regard to the members of various communities who newly embrace Islam.
The Zayed House provides all facilities which demonstrate tolerance of Islam and its impact on the character in terms of conduct and cooperation with others.
