The General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development of the Ministry of Interior has organized a workshop to discuss the development of the Minister of Interior Excellence Award at the Federal Police School in Sharjah on Tuesday morning.

Major Abdullah Abdul Rahman, the Director of the Technical Support Team of the Minister of Interior Excellence Award workshop activities has launched the activities of the workshop in the presence of the Major Dr. Jasem Al Baker, the Vice President of the Federal Police School. Many members from different commands and sectors in the Ministry of Interior have participated in this workshop and have been divided into five work teams.

Major Abdullah Abdul Rahman has clarified that this workshop will gather the general opinion about the award standards in order to develop the award system, increase its categories, and review assessment standards. These steps present a more developed and modern award that achieves its goals and objectives constituting an important factor to enhance and further develop the Ministry’s human resources.

He said that this award reflects the interest of the police leadership to develop the Ministry’s administration systems and enhance the employees' efficiency. 

He also added: "The award development system will be carried out by professionals in the human resources administration, quality and development. At the end of the workshop, technical reports will be prepared to develop the system.”
