The Project Management Office in Abu Dhabi Police Strategic Management and Performance Development Department recently organized a workshop on projects management methodology, at the Police Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi.
Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Projects Management Office emphasized that this workshop comes within the initiative to establish an office, to provide full support and advice to project and strategic initiatives’ managers in Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. It also includes the introduction of the latest international methods in this field and of the rehabilitation project of the General Directorate for Finance and Services, as well as other related topics.
Al Nuaimi also stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to adopt the Federal Government strategy in implementing the directives of our Higher Leadership, through the application of modern methods, which contribute to further development in police and security work, so as to enhance the efforts exerted to achieve the desired aspirations, as per the most advanced international standards.
Captain Hamdan Rashid Al Yamahi, from Abu Dhabi Police, inaugurated the workshop; explaining the best ways to manage projects and strategic initiatives according to the latest international means, and as per the best standards, which reflects positively on enhancing the level of modern projects management in Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. It also contributes to consolidate resources, skills and technologies via advanced methodologies and improve the Police Work System to the best levels.
