Brigadier Omair Mohamed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, inaugurated a workshop about training methodologies designed to enhance the skills of the Police Operations task forces in the field. The two-day workshop was held at the Police Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi.

In his speech at the opening event, Brigadier Al Muhairi stressed the importance of this workshop to instill the concept of partnership, and deliberate on the optimal ideas and purposeful proposals aimed at adopting the best training methodologies to enhance skills and hone staff members’ expertise, based on international best practices and theoretical application in the law enforcement field.

Brigadier Al Muhairi urged officers from different police departments and sections affiliated with Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) to study the training workshop's program and topics, and draw out the best proposals and recommendations to achieve the highest levels of professional abilities and organizational efficiency when dealing with challenges.

The workshop’s program included a number of topics that need to be tackled in order to reach final recommendations related to the adoption of the best theoretical and practical training methodologies, aimed at supporting skills of law enforcement officers in the field.

A number of legal affairs officers, consultants and trainers held lectures during this workshop in addition to training experts from different entities.
