The Western Region Police Directorate placed first in the Abu Dhabi Police Road Race Championship, organized by the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. The 5000-meter race took place along the new Abu Dhabi Corniche until the breakwater.
The Government and Diplomatic Facilities Department won second place, and the Central Operations Department came in third.
The Police Directorates of the Western Region, the external regions, and Al Ain partook in the race, alongside the Departments of Forensic Evidence, Central Operations, Personnel Affairs and Government and Diplomatic Facilities.
The competition was attended by Colonel Mohammed bin Dalmouj, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development Department, where he signaled the start of the race, and rewarded the championship winners, both departments and individuals. Also present were a number of officers and individuals.
At the level of individuals, first place was awarded to Abdulrahman Ayat Al Hosn from the Government and Diplomatic Facilities Department, and second place to Abdullah Mohammed from the Ports Security Department. Ahmed Darwish from the Central Operation Department won third place.
