Brigadier Najem Abdullah Al Hosani, Director of the Social Support Centers Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, met a delegation from the Umm Al Quwain Police General Headquarters, headed by Lt. Colonel Adnan Jassim bu O'Saiba, Head of Community Police Department.
Brigadier Al Hosani welcomed the visiting delegation; emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences and cooperation, in line with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy.
The delegation was given an overview by Lt. Colonel Obaid Rashid Al Moughanni, Head of the Community Affairs Department, on the mechanisms of action in the Department, and its role in the service of society and the family, by solving issues amicably before reaching the competent authorities.
Moreover, the Umm Al Quwain delegation watched a movie introducing the Social Support Centers Department, the nature of social and family cases that the centers receive, and how to deal with them.
The Umm Al Quwain Police delegation commended the successful experience of social support, and the influential role it plays in promoting stability in the UAE society.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Saeed Hamad Al Kaabi, Head of Support Services; and a number of Directors and heads of departments at the Social Support Centers Department.
