Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Electronic Systems led a UAE delegation that visited a number of police stations, punitive and reformatory establishments, and courts in the United Kingdom. Judge Dr. Ibrahim Al Ali, Head of the Federal Appellate Court of Umm Al Quwain and Chairman of the Committee on Compiling Laws relating to Judicial Electronic Systems Development at the Ministry of Justice, was a member of the delegation.
The visit aimed to exchange expertise and obtaininsights into the latest global practices and legislations in thetechnical systems field.
The visiting delegation, which included a number of the judiciary, federal, and local authority members, was briefed on many technical functions and duties and their role in improving the quality of services on the humanitarian and practical levels.
On the other hand, members of the delegation participated in specialized workshops, and met representatives of the UK Ministry of Justice, police stations, courts, and punitive and reformatory establishments.
