The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department recently transferred by air 3 UAE nationals and an Asian family of 3 members, to hospital where they received the necessary health care following separate traffic and medical accidents. Medical teams provided the patients with the necessary care throughout the transfer process.
The Abu Dhabi Police air ambulance aircraft transported a 23-year-old Emirati who sustained mild injuries in a traffic accident in Al Shuwaib to Tawam Hospital.
An elderly 71-year-old Emirati woman, was transferred by air from Delma Hospital in Al Gharbia Region to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi after the Police Operations Room reported a woman in deteriorating health condition suffering from spinal cord injuries and quadriplegia.
The air ambulance also transferred a 71-year-old Emirati man from Ghayathi Hospital to Mafraq Hospital after the Police Operations Room reported a man in weak condition, suffering from contractions in the cardiac muscle due to recurrent heart attacks.
An Asian family was also transported by the air ambulance aircraft after its three members, 40-year-old father, 25-year-old mother and a 6-year-old child, had a traffic accident in Al Gharbia region. The victims who sustained different fractures and contusions were moved to Madinat Zayed Hospital on a fully equipped first-aid plane.
