Motorists of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company benefited from a traffic awareness program, organized by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police for motorists working at the company. The program is part of the “summer without accidents” campaign and the methodology of communication with both the public and private sectors’ institutions, to raise the level of traffic education between motorists.
The program included lectures given by Lieutenant Hamed Al Baloushi from The Public Relations Department at the Directorate, to educate motorists on the basics of a safe driving, to pay attention while driving, to comply with the designated speed limits on internal and external roads, as well as the risks of using mobile phones while driving; the importance of using safety belts and paying attention to all road users, notably pedestrians and other motorists.
The Directorate called on public and private sectors’ institutions to enhance partnership with her in order to contribute to the continuous process of traffic education and awareness, which should not be limited to some seasons, as well as the need to urge and encourage motorists to comply with Traffic Laws and regulations.
