The Forensic Evidence, Training, and Medical Services Departments at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ earned the Six Sigma Certification from the Asian Institute of Quality Management.
Major General Mohammed Bin Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources, and Head of the Excellence and Quality team of Abu Dhabi Police indicated that the working teams acquired the certifications after completing the five stages of the Six Sigma Project. He emphasized that the project aims to improve performance at Abu Dhabi Police by reducing defects, cost and time.
Moreover, Al Menhali noted that the working teams of the above-mentioned departments were trained for the required Green Belt and Black Belt levels; adding that a plan is currently being established to implement the project at all Abu Dhabi Police GHQs in the future.
The Six Sigma Certification is one of the most renowned management concepts in Total Quality Management. It is based on basic standards; notably, identifying procedures, calculating and analyzing their level, and developing them to the highest levels of Quality Control in terms of procedure and production.
