Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations assisted in the launch of the 2012 annual shooting competition second phase program for the officers of the Central Operations General Directorate, in cooperation with the shooting department in the Police Schools Administration. The launch was held in the Abu Dhabi Police Officers Club, in collaboration with the directors of the Central Operations and their deputies, in addition to a number of officers.
Major General Ahmed Al Raisi emphasized on the Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in training officers on the art of shooting, which falls within its basic training programs.
The officers competed in the contest. Colonel Ali Al Zahiri took first place with 97 points and Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Al Ansari won second place with 94 points, while Captain Muhammad Al Obaidali reached third place with 94 points.
Following the competition, the Director of Central Operations handed the awards to the first three winners.
The competition was supervised by Captain Muhammad Ali Al Zaabi and Captain Nasser Al Saidi, Secretary of the Sports Committee in the Central Operations General Directorate.
