The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi organized a workshop to throw the spotlight on the concepts and standards of excellence according to the European Excellence model (EFQM).  The workshop was attended by a number of administrative executives, external offices’ directors and several participants from the various departments and offices at the Directorate.

Colonel Salim Ali Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, indicated that this workshop is part of a series of programs, courses and specialized workshops in this regard, and will be implemented in a systematic framework to support the sector’s strategy in the area of organizational excellence.

“The workshop was marked by profound discussion of issues and correlation between concepts, standards and applications related to the Residency and Foreigners Affairs’ work. This, in turn, encouraged participants to interact and share their knowledge and views throughout the workshop,” Al Zaabi added.

Moreover, he stressed the keenness to implement the Ministry of Interior’s strategy aimed at promoting the concepts of organizational excellence, implementing strategic plans and programs to spread and enhance the organizational excellence culture. This also aims to develop work according to the ministry’s strategies and directives and to support its competitive capacities to achieve customer satisfaction.
