The Special Security Forces GHQ honored members of its Pistol Shooting Team, winner of the second place in the 10-meter Air Pistol Shooting Competition for men. The competition was part of the fourth Police Olympic Shooting Championship, recently hosted by Al Ain city.

Colonel Staff Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hajiri, Commander of the Special Security Forces, lauded the accomplishment achieved by the team who ranked second in the competition.  He called on the team’s members to seek further achievements that consolidate the leadership’s prominent position among police entities. Moreover, Al Hajiri emphasized that sports is an integral part of  police work that enhances  police staff’s fitness and enables them to perform the security tasks entrusted to them efficiently. 

He also expressed his thanks to all trainers, supervisors, administrators, and officers who worked diligently to achieve honorable results and maintain the Special Security Forces GHQ at the forefront in all Police Federation championships.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director of Operations, along with department directors at the Special Security Forces GHQ at the Ministry of Interior.
