Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior was briefed on the new community ambulance, used in the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters Public Safety and Emergency Directorate for the ambulance community awareness campaigns.
In the presence of Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations; and a number of officers, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan listened to the medical staff explanation on the contents of the ambulance, its use in reflecting real-life scenarios of injuries and illnesses, and the process of educating the public with regard to rescue scenarios and its implementation in the ambulance, which is broadcasted directly on the TV screen aboard.
Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan was briefed on the 2011 annual book for the society and ambulance campaign, which targeted 7,400 people from various categories of society. The number of beneficiaries of the current year’s society and ambulance campaign is expected to increase to more than ten thousand people. The actual society and ambulance program includes housewives of medical staff who have been rehabilitated for this role.
