The Air Wing Department at the Ministry of Interior rescued an Emirati motorcyclist injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the sandy area of AlFaya, in Sharjah.

“Upon receiving notification from the Operations room, the air ambulance team immediately rushed to the rescue to the crash site in the sandy area”, said Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Dheeb, Head of the Sharjah Air Wing Section.

“The injured (KH.A) was given first aid on site by the medical team. Upon examination, it turned out that he sustained various injuries and was unable to move. Therefore, he was expeditiously airlifted to Al Qassimi Hospital in the Emirate of Sharjah for further treatment”, he added.

Colonel Al Dheeb stated that the Air Wing Section’s crew and air ambulance paramedics are working round the clock to ensure community members’ security and safety, and to provide assistance in cases of emergency.

Lt. Colonel Pilot Abdullah Al Mil, First Lt. Pilot Ali AL Ebadi, Dr. Ahmed Kashif, and paramedic Richie took part in the rescue mission.
