The Security Inspection Department K9  in Abu Dhabi Police Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs provided interesting offers and veterinary consultations for the Pedigree Pet Show recently organized in Dubai. The show witnessed the participation of more than 20 tracker dogs.  

Colonel Jamal Al Habash, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs said that the department participated in the show, which was organized by one of the leading global institutions, along with a number of public and private sector institutions.

He added that the directorate presented various demonstrations for the visitors including dog obedience movements and the detection of prohibited items or substances. It also offered other demonstrations, such as security training, in the exhibition hall. The show Pedigree Pet Show also had an entire wing dedicated to children.  

Colonel Al Habash pointed out that a tent was set up with a photo exhibition showcasing external achievements and exhibitions. It also highlighted recent search and rescue operations involving tracker dog teams. The directorate also offered a free service providing medical check-ups to visitors’ dogs.
