Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, visited the intensive care unit at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain on Monday evening, to check on the health condition and medical care provided to the Asian workers, who were injured in Monday’s accident. The workers were injured when a truck fell on their bus, traveling on the trucks road in Seeh Sabra area in Al Ain.

His Highness was briefed by Humaid Al Mansouri, Deputy Director of Tawam Hospital, on the advanced therapeutic services provided by the hospital to patients. He wished all injured a speedy recovery.

His Highness reiterated the country’s leadership’s keenness to ensure the safety of all members of society, citizens, residents and visitors alike, by providing them with high-quality health care, as per the best standards. Moreover, he expressed his regret for the occurrence of such a tragic accident.

His Highness was accompanied in his visit by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate; Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Baloushi Head of Peripheral Areas Traffic Department at Abu Dhabi Police ‘s Traffic and Patrols Directorate; along with a number of officers, doctors and officials.
