The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a book titled, “Spotlight on Abu Dhabi Police Journey 1957-2007” translated into Russian.
The book, published on the occasion of the Police celebration with golden jubilee, was received in the presence of Major Gen. Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, and head of the committee which oversaw preparation of the book.
Sheikh Saif praised the distinguished effort, and directed that the book which was translated by Capt. Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, be distributed to the interior ministers at the Russian speaking countries and to the foreign embassies in the UAE.
He called on all staff members of the Ministry of Interior to make more academic attainments and master various foreign languages.
Captain Al Jaber is a police officer who obtained bachelor degree in international relations and masters in public administration. Now he is doing his PhD in Uzbekistan.The meeting was attended by Major. Gen. Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Minister of Interior, and a number of police officers.
