Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,recently received a copy of the book “Land Rover World Middle East” at his office.
The book documents the development of the Land Rover, starting from the beginning of its manufacturing date up until the present. It also highlights its most important Land Rover owners, including Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The book features a unique picture of late Sheikh Zayed driving the car in 1976.
His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met a delegation from Premier Motors in Abu Dhabi. The delegation included Hilal Omar, General Manager of the company; Saeed Hijazi, the General Manager of Premier Motors-Land Rover and Jaguar Division; and Fadi Baghdadi, Deputy Director General of the Ford Division. Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior also attended the meeting.
They discussed the cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Abu Dhabi Police GHQand Premier Motors.
Premier Motors General Manager expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for allowing this meeting to take place within the framework of partnership that has been built between the public and private sectors.
