Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, Chairman of the Steering Committee assigned to represent the Ministry of Interior at Ophthalmology Conference, met in, in his office, with a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
During the meeting, they discussed the current preparations for hosting the conference, which will be held under the auspices of the Authority in the period from 16 until February 20, 2012.
The conference, held for the first time in the UAE, will bring together 8000 to 12000 ophthalmologists, Major General Al Raisi said.
The aim of the participation of the Ministry of Interior in the conference is to provide all the facilities required for its success, such as issuance of entry permits, secure and facilitate traffic for the delegations.
Departments of Emergency and Public Safety and Information Technology will participate in the conference, and present the latest capabilities, and techniques used by the Abu Dhabi Police in strengthening security, and take part in all events and activities held at the emirate level, pointed out Al Raisi.
