The Police Sports Association at the Ministry of Interior celebrated the conclusion of the training course for Olympic Rowing Trainers with the collaboration of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation. The course was held for two weeks at the Al Hamriya Club for Rowing in Sharjah with the participation of 30 affiliates from the Police Headquarters and General Departments.

The ceremony was attended by Nasser Al Fardan, Secretary General of Sharjah Sports Council, and Colonel Abdul Malik Jani, Director of the Police Sports Association.
Colonel Al Jani mentioned that the Police Association is very interested in the different fields of Olympics Sports, through setting plans and programs to develop a strong foundation and finding scientifically and practically qualified individuals by conducting training exercises. The Police Association aims to efficiently participate in the Olympic Championships that the Union is organizing, or through its  external participation.

He also stated that the participants acquired massive amounts of information, theoretical and practical, through this course. He wished the affiliates the continuance of excellence in this field in order to present their experiences to those working in this sports sector.

Concluding the ceremony, Al Fardan alongside Colonel Jani, honored the participants and the lecturer.
