As part of the UAE celebrations of International Day of the Elderly, a delegation of Police College visited on Thursday a number of patients and old people admitted at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC).
The delegation comprised Major Mohammed Buti Al Shamesi, Head of Relations and Guidance Section, a number of officers and a group of the police college university cadets
The gesture, said Al Shamesi, is part of the community initiatives conducted by the Police College in conjunction with the celebrations of international day of the elderly. It also a means to boost societal cohesion, he added.
The delegation distributed gifts to a number of patients and old people and wished them good health. The delegation also met with Sameera bin Karam, director of guest services section and Eman Rahani, marketing and information officer and got acquainted with the services offered to the elderly.
The two sides exchanged memorial presents.
