Students from the 27th batch of recruits at the Police College visited the Air Wing Department at Abu Dhabi, where they were briefed on the applied police reports and training program adopted by pilots of the Air Wing Department. They also reviewed the pilots’ work mechanism, and the aircrafts’ maintenance workshop, and got acquainted with the modern aircrafts used at the Air Wing Department.
Brigadier Pilot Ali Mohamed Al Mazroui, Director of the Air Wing Department at Abu Dhabi Police, stressed the importance of this visit, to achieve continuous communication with the Police College recruits, to acquaint them with the latest developments in the areas of work, to help them leverage from expertise and experiences.
The students were accompanied by Lieutenant colonel Dr. Yussuf Mohamed Al Hammadi, member of the teaching faculty at the Police College. They were greeted upon arrival by Lieutenant colonel Pilot Salem khalifa Al Suaidi, Head of the Training department at the Air Wing Department.
The tour also included the Aviation Base and the Maintenance Department, where students listened to a detailed explanation from Major Pilot Engineer Walid Al Sa’far and Major Pilot Hamad Al Kutbi regarding the various tasks and duties.
