One died, four injured in a traffic accident at Sir Bani Yass
One person was killed and 4 others were injured when their vehicle overturned on Bu Tair Road at Sir Bani Yass Island, on Wednesday.
Lt. Colonel Fayssal Eissa, Director of Residential Ruweis Police Station, said the accident was due to over speeding, which caused the vehicle to overturn at a bend on the road. The car was a double cabin pick up.
three of the vehicle passengers were Indians and one was Pakistani. The injured persons sustained medium and severe injuries. They were taken byn the Civil Defence Ambulance to Al Ruweis Hospital for treatment.
Lt. Colonel Eissa urged motorists to abide by traffic rules and regulations, slow down when approaching bends to avoid accidents and their consequences.
