The Ministry of the Interior, through the Department of Community Police at ADP, presented a study on "the vision of police security work through the concepts of community policing", in the 35th Conference of Arab Police and Security Chiefs in Lebanon.

 The Ministry of Interior participated in the conference with a delegation led by Major General Sheikh Talib bin Saqer Al Qassimi, Commander in- chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police

 The Study, presented by Mubarak bin Meheroum, Director of Community Police in Abu Dhabi Police, included recommendations adopted by the Conference on the development of the concept of community policing, and the establishment of departments of community policing in countries that have not set up such departments, to strengthen the partnership between the police institutions and the community.

Is also included setting up of an Arab guidelines strategy to promote the implementation of the concept of community policing, to later be presented at the next conference, to be held in Algeria in December.

Ben Meheroum said, the Ministry of Interior keeps pace with all developments in the policing community since 2003, and made a lot of success and excellence in various sectors, aiming primarily to promote security and safety among members of society and breaking the barrier of fear between citizens and the police
