The Ministry of Interior hosted a workshop to discuss the most important priorities included in the development initiative for the Civil Defense Sector in the upcoming period. The workshop was organized by the Directorate General of Civil Defense under the theme “Strategic Trends”, and was held at Fairmont Hotel in Dubai.
Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-chief, said that an extensive development plan will be implemented across the sector, during the remaining time in the current strategic session.
Participants in the workshop tackled the most important strategic aspects in the topics related to the strategic goals of the Ministry’s plan (2014-2016) and improvement procedures. A brainstorming session was held to discuss the proposed issues and initiatives.
The workshop was attended by Brigadier Rashed Al Matroushi, Director General of Civil Defense in Dubai, in addition to directors general, heads of departments and a number of officers and constables from the central and regional Civil Defense Departments in the UAE.
