The Ministry of Interior and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) have held talks regarding methods of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Interior, the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in various fields of security.

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met Noboru Nakatani, Executive Director of the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation, at his office at the Ministry of Interior. It is worth mentioning that Nakatani is currently on an official two-day visit to the UAE, and will meet with a number of officials from the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier Muhammed Ghadir Al Kutbi, Deputy Director General of the Federal Criminal Police at the Ministry of Interior; Colonel Abdul Wahid Ahmed Al Hammadi, Acting Head of the Interpol Department at the Ministry of Interior;  Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior; Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazroui, Head of the International Cooperation Department at MoI; First Lieutenant Ahmed Al Marri, Digital Crimes Officer at Interpol's Digital Crime Center at Interpol’s General Secretariat.
