A delegation from the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) was briefed on the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), its work mechanisms and ways to facilitate transactions.
Major Turki Saeed Al Dhuhoori, Chief of the Legislation Section at the Legal Affairs Department, recently met Omar Abu Saleem, Legal Expert from the MoF, and his accompanying delegation in his office.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of empowering mutual cooperation, collaborative fields, and the exchange of expertise and experiences between the two departments.
Major Turki reviewed the history of the Legal Affairs Department, its disciplines and operations, including offering legal opinion on different cases and legislations. The department is also responsible for preparing legal court orders for cases it receives. He also reviewed the work mechanism at the Contract Verification Section and the methods employed to facilitate transactions.
At the conclusion of the visit, memorial gifts were exchanged between the two parties.
