Ministry of Interior discuses initiatives for correctional institutions
The Ministry of Interior discussed the implementation of strategic initiatives for the correctional and punitive institutions countrywide this year.
The first meeting of the higher leadership for correctional and punitive institutions countrywide, chaired by Hamad Adeel Al Shamesi, the director of Correctional and Punitive Institutions at the Ministry of Interior, discussed the important role assumed by the social workers and psychologies towards the inmates.
The meeting reviewed the tasks and duties of the higher committee, and ways of boosting the work inside the correctional and punitive institutions, in addition to a number of issues listed on the agenda.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Saif Matar Al Zaabi, Deputy Chairman of the committee, and director of Abu Dhabi Police Correctional and punitive Institutions, and the committee members in the country.
