In its recent meeting headed by Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Director of Public Relations and General Supervisor of the village, the Ministry of Interior Village team discussed means to improve and develop the village’s activities, and reviewed the past year’s achievements.
During the meeting, which was held at the Public Relations Department at the ministry, attendees touched on a number of topics on the agenda, namely; developing existing activities and introducing a set of initiatives offered for the first time to the public. Moreover, attendees discussed ongoing preparations for the MoI Village, which will be held for the second time, at the end of year.
Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi indicated that the MoI Village, organized under the slogan “Social Village… With Police Spirit”, is the first global initiative organized by the ministry to enhance communication between the various police bodies and community members, in line with Community Police’s concept. “The MoI Village was organized at 10 different locations across all the Emirates. It shed light on the most important and prominent achievements, as well as the Ministry of Interior’s initiatives to instill the concept of security in all citizens; with the participation of a large number of community and governmental institutions,” he concluded.
