The Ministry of Interior discussed mutual cooperation and collaboration with a delegation from the Interior Affairs Committee at the German Parliament.
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, met Dr. Hans Peter, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the German Federal Parliament, along with his visiting delegation on Monday at the Ministry.
During the meeting, both sides discussed many topics related to police training and the exchange of expertise in the civil defense sector. The two parties highlighted the importance of continuing to deliver on the security agreement signed in 2005 between the Ministries of Interior of both countries.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ali Mohammed bin Darwish, Director General of Human Resources; Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of International Cooperation Department; Major Mubarak Said Al Khaili, Acting Director of the MoI INTERPOL Office; members of the German Parliament Delegation; and Nikolai von Schoepff, the German Ambassador to the UAE.
