Minister of Justice, Dr. Hadef Joaan Al Dhaheri, lauded the advanced electronic services launched by the Ministry of Interior during its participation at GITEX 2011. He also praised its efforts in child protection.
He was in a visit to the MoI pavilion at GITEX where he was received by Major General staff Obeid Salem al Kutbi, deputy commander-general of Abu Dhabi Police and Major-General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, director general of Central Operations of Abu Dhabi Police. He was briefed on the MoI systems, programs and initiatives in electronic services.
Lt Colonel Al Shammari, director of Child Protection Center has informed him of the center and the most important challenges facing efforts of child protection.
The minister has expressed his appreciation for these efforts, praising the coordination and cooperation with civil society institutions in the country and the initiatives of the higher committee for child protection at the ministry of interior which will have positive impacts on the child’s situation in the country.
