A K9 delegation from the Security Inspection Department at Abu Dhabi Police recently discussed training collaboration during a visit to the Police Dogs Training Centers in Britain and France where it reviewed their capabilities as a prelude to sign memorandums of understanding in this regard.

Colonel Hashem Al Sayed Al Hashemi, Deputy Director of Security Inspection and Head of the delegation explained, that during the visit which spanned over 10 days, the delegation visited the Guildford Police Station in the UK where it got acquainted with the various theoretical and practical training aspects proposed for the training collaboration. The delegation also toured the station, the training grounds as well as the dogs breeding centers. In another visit to North Wales Police, the delegation reviewed the requirements for training courses organizing as well as the programs of the training curriculum.

Al Hashemi added that the delegation completed the tour with a visit to the training center specialized in the systems and methods of advanced technical and security training. In its visit to Charles De Gaulle Airport, the delegation reviewed the modern systems used at the airport.
The Abu Dhabi Police delegation included First Lieutenant Salim Nassib Al Shamsi and Lieutenant Omar Salem Al Breiki.
