A delegation of interns of the Academy of Judicial Studies at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, viewed rehabilitation programs, mechanisms of verdict execution and social and health services provided to prisoners of Al Wathba Punitive and Correctional Institution at Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters . The delegation’s visit is in line with the framework of exchanging information and benefitting from police expertise and experiences.
Colonel Mohammed Saif Mattar Al Zoabi, Director of Punitive and Correctional Institution, at the Abu Dhabi Police, received the visiting delegation and expressed his delight with the mutual communication and collaboration between the institution’s department and the Academy of Judicial Studies at the Judicial Department.
In a brief introductory presentation, Al Zoabi referred to the rehabilitation programs and the humanitarian and social care services provided to prisoners, and accompanied the delegation in an introductory field trip that followed the presentation.
The visiting delegation expressed their admiration for the work system and the adopted procedures in Al Wathba Division, and offered their thanks to the organization’s department for the cooperation, hospitality, and the good care they received during this visit.
Colonel Ateeq Ibrahim Al Thaheri, Deputy Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution of Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to a number of officers attended the meeting.
