The Traffic Institute Section of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate located in Al Ain celebrated on Thursday, the graduation of two courses. “The Fundamentals of Traffic and Patrols” course, which spanned over six weeks, was attended by 77 participants; and “The Police Tasks on Highways” course, which spanned over one week, and was attended by 13 participants.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Mahri, Chief of the Traffic Institute Section, indicated that the trainees received theoretical and practical training applications, which help to set up the proper planning process for traffic police staff members, and improve their policing abilities, with a view to spread traffic safety awareness in society.

Lieutenant Colonel Al Mahri also lauded the police leadership’s support and commitment to graduate highly qualified traffic officers, to better keep up with the developments in police work and to implement the general strategy, which serves the best interests of society and maintains its safety.

In conclusion, he urged graduates to show loyalty and dedication in their work and to apply the knowledge they have acquired in practice; expressing his thanks to the lecturers for the efforts they have made throughout the two courses.
