The Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, recently celebrated the graduation of six officers who acquired the Occupational Psychological Assessment Diploma.
The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Saif Al Dir’e, Director of the Leadership Development and Creativity Center; Major Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, supervisor of the diploma program; along with a number of officers from the center.
In his speech delivered at the event, Major Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali said: “The Occupational Psychological Assessment Diploma is a specialized professional certification granted after completing a number of courses and scientific practical applications that take place for more than a year.”
Adding further, he said that with the certificate, graduates could conduct psychological tests in the professional field as well as assess skills and competencies, in accordance with the internationally recognized principles and standards in this field. He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior is one of the first government entities to have its staff members qualify in the field of occupational psychological assessment.
At the end of the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Saif Al Dir’e distributed certificates to the graduates.
