The Police College celebrated the graduation of 60 officers from different sectors of the Ministry of Interior, after completing two specialized courses on “Excellence in Performance” and “Preparation of Organizational Structures and Job Description”. The two courses were organized by the Officers Training Institute at the Police College.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Inspector- General of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Ali Jumaa Al Shamesi; Colonel Salim Saeed Al Miqbali, Acting Director General of Police College; as well as departments’ directors, heads of divisions and officers from the Police College.
Al Shamesi stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to develop its human cadre, in line with its training plan to keep pace with current developments and as per the directives of the police leadership to enhance the training system and hone the skills of the Ministry of Interior’s officers.
The participants learned the basic concepts of excellence and organizational structures; the various means to achieve excellence and innovation in institutions. They also were acquainted with the international models and standards of excellence in performance and the practical applications related to Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program.
At the end of the ceremony, graduates received their certificates.
