The Police College celebrated the graduation of 37 police officers from the various sectors of the Ministry of the Interior. The graduates completed three specialized courses organized by the Officers Training Institute, namely; “Leadership and Administrative Excellence methodologies”; “Excellence and Innovation in Management”; and “Knowledge Management”.
The ceremony, which was held at Union Hall at the Police College, was attended by H.E. Colonel Saif Al Al Kutobi, Police College Director; Lt. Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Alkhzimi, Director of the Officers Training Institute; along with department directors, heads of sections and officers from the Police College and the Training Institute.
Colonel Al Kutobi emphasized the Ministry of Interior's keenness to develop the competencies of its staff, in accordance with the training plan that keeps pace with the current developments. This comes in line with the police leadership’s directives to promote and enhance training; and to qualify and hone the skills of its officers.
He indicated that such courses aim to develop knowledge, skills and competencies of participants on “knowledge management”, implemented on police work. They also aim to develop their knowledge, skills and competencies on the “Leadership and Administrative Excellence methodologies”, required to achieve the competitive standards of superiority and excellence.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Kutobi distributed certificates to the graduates, assisted by Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Alkhzimi.
