A total of 143 recruits participating in nine courses graduated from the Ports Security Institute of the Ports and Airports Security Police in Abu Dhabi Police. The courses included training on different types of specialized police and security sciences.
Lieutenant colonel Naima Salem Awad, Training Branch Manager at the Institute emphasized that the training courses embody Abu Dhabi police’s strategy to habilitate its human cadres and enhance their capacities in various fields. This would achieve the coveted goals, and maintain security and stability in the Country.
She indicated that 143 participants took part in the 9 courses organized by the Institute. She added that the courses included practical and scientific applications to hone their skills in their assigned tasks. Moreover, Awad lauded the courses organized on regular basis and the competence of lecturers, which reflects the attention devoted to the human cadre, being at the heart of the development process in all service sectors.
The training manager congratulated the graduates, calling on them to exert further efforts to enhance their performance in the tasks entrusted to them. She also noted the keenness shown by trainees in interacting with the program proving their will and dedication to promote the quality of services provided to community members, as per international-best standards. Concluding, she urged them to redouble efforts to ensure further excellence witnessed by police departments in their various jurisdictions.
At the end of the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Naima Salem Awad distributed the certificates to the graduates.
