A German Special Forces delegation led by Colonel Raymond Gentz viewed the training systems for honing and rehabilitating the skills of the Q7 Department members, of the Directorate General of the Security Guards and Special Tasks, at Abu Dhabi Police, as well as the efforts exerted by Abu Dhabi Police in promoting the efficiency of the training process through collaboration, information and expertise exchange between advanced countries in this field.
The meeting between Colonel Rashed Said Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of Q7 and the delegation was attended by the various heads of departments and a number of department officials.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation and communication in the field of Special Forces training and exchanged views on mutual exercises between both sides.
Major Ali Hamad Shanin, Head of the Training Department, gave a brief explanation on the tasks, specialties and duties undertaken by the department. The delegation then viewed the organizational structure of the Department and watched a presentation on the modern and developed devices and equipment used by the Special Forces.
At the end of the visit, the two parties exchanged commemorative gifts.
