In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank, the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs, Abu Dhabi recently organized a blood donation campaign. The campaign comes in line with the Directorate’s efforts to support humanitarian activities in the country and help in saving the life of many patients who need blood transfusion.
This one day campaign, attended by a large number of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and employees at the Directorate, along with visitors, aims to meet the permanent needs and collect the biggest amount of blood to cover the needs of the bank in its effort to serve to serve the patients.
Colonel Saeed Salem Al Shamsi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs, stressed the Directorate’s keenness to participate in supporting such humanitarian campaigns that help patients and people who need blood transfusion. He said: “The General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs is a service department that communicates with the society and is keen to perform its duties towards it.”
Concluding his speech, Colonel Al Shamsi thanked the organizers of the campaign from the Ministry of Health and The Department of Blood Transfusion services, in addition to all those who took part in the campaign. He expressed his hope to see all entities join efforts to achieve welfare to the homeland, its citizens and residents.
